Psychological Treatment:
Dr. Lane provides individual and family therapy as well as parental guidance and psychoeducation. She uses evidence-based approaches and adapts them to meet an individual and family's unique needs. Approaches include:

Diagnosis:
Dr. Lane provides diagnosis. Diagnosis is a regulated and protected act. Dr. Lane is qualified to provide diagnosis with regard to mental health concerns (according to the DSM5-TR) and learning and neurodevelopmental disorders.
Diagnosis may involve clinical interviews and consultation, review of previous reports, observation and formal psychological assessment.
Psychological Assessment:
Dr. Lane provides psychological assessments to address both psychoeducational and diagnostic needs. A comprehensive psychological assessment may address the following:

diagnostic issues related to mental health or neurodevelopmental concerns

Dr. Lane would begin the assessment with a discussion of what types of information you are looking for and what types of questions need to be answered and tailor the assessment to meet these needs.
Consultation:
Dr. Lane provides consultation to individuals and families regarding presenting concerns and problems. Consultation may be provided to determine an appropriate treatment direction or services. Consultation may also involve providing psychoeducation.
Consultation is also provided to schools and other agencies.
Teaching/Training:
Dr. Lane provides teaching and training including formal supervision, workshops and/or parent education.
